Pity Poor Peccary

Author: Jan Harmon

Source: Nancy Mattila

Notes: The collared peccary is the only wild pig-like animal in the continental US. It is also known as the musk-hog because it is often smelled before it is seen, or the javelina (from the Spanish for spear) because of its razor sharp tusks. Jan Harmon took this prominent feature of the creature and gave us a song with some amazing rhymes called Pity Poor Peccary.
