Mark Twain: An American Life

We transport the audience back 150 years to hear the life story of one of America's greatest humorists, Mark Twain. The story is told with excerpts from Twain's writings, projected images, and many songs that were popular during his lifetime. Acclaimed ballad singer Judy Cook, in 19th Century costume, sings and plays English concertina. The many projected images include chorus words so all may join in the singing. Dennis Cook is the voice of Mark Twain for quotes from his literature, autobiography, letters, and notebook. This program is available in 60 or 90 minute versions.
